Type in the Language of Your Choice with This Virtual Keyboard Extension
for Chrome 188.8.131.52
Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows Vista / Windows XP
Type in your own language with Google Input Tools.
This extension for Chrome takes the things you type in Latin characters and then converts that to text in your own language. You simply type something the way it is pronounced. Google Input tools then turns the word into its original written format. There are many virtual keyboards available in this handy little extension and there is also auto-complete for those who prefer to maximize their time typing.
Any language tool is going to be useful as a Chrome extension, but since this is directly for Google itself, Google users are going to love what this tool can do for them. The most important part is that it works for many different languages, something that comparable tools often don't do. They might hit a few of the major languages but leave out many of the others that are becoming common thanks to increased Internet usage worldwide. Languages that were all but unheard of on the Internet years ago are now getting their own websites and tools.
Are there any cons to this one? So far, not very many. Obviously, there are still missing languages here but one can expect those to be added in coming versions that improve on the overall format of the program itself. For now, this is simply a useful tool that doesn't leave a user much to complain about.
While every language in the world would have to be here for this to be of maximum effectiveness, you just don't get a better language extension than Google Input Tools.
